June 2011 - Peter Green Chilled our proud to announce a newly developed and improved website, offering adequate information on our operations and procedures.
Peter Green Chilled implement our Retail and Cross Dock loading functionality, whereby all outgoing pallets to external destinations are assigned to
vehicles and trailers, thus improving overall external visibility and pallet management. This project also ties into the external order tracking facility tied into online
reporting, whereby our customers can track an order and ascertain its current location.
March 2011 - ASN integration with Sainsburys and Tesco systems completed after move from external consolidation delivery to our fleet delivery. DC's aware of Peter Green Chilleds unique status as being a consolidator delivering products themselves.
February 2011 - Peter Green Chilled move from external consolidation delivery into Sainsurys and Tesco's and move to deliver into RDC's themselves.
2010
November 2010 - Peter Green Chilled implement a count-back picking facility. All orders processed through the system are now "count-backed" this allows us to fully control accuracy of picks and provide accurate to the point stock levels. The count back system provides 100% accuracy as users are required to count pallet quantities after picking allocated stock. The system requires a count back during a pick and knows the exact stock level of the pallet. If the picker differentiates from this the system flags and error on this pick and/or previous picks.
