Peter Green Chilled offers state of the art temperature controlled warehousing in Somerset. With 14,000 pallet spaces split between two sites, coupled with numerous technologies within our warehouse environment, we aim to provide quick, affordable and accurate storage for all our customer needs

Refrigerated Transport

Peter Green Chilled currently run 75+ vehicles, with a dedicated smaller fleet for extra urban areas and hard to access destinations. We offer a daily, emergency or one off courier service for customers. We also offer UK Wide and Pan European delivery destinations. Our fleet is modern and includes the all the latest technologies including Satellite tracking, Trailer Security, Trailer Temperature monitoring as well as driver characteristics monitoring.

Customer Integration

We have successfully integrated out systems with our customers systems on numerous occasions. SAP, CSV, EDIFact, and various other forms are available. We're open to specific changes and information and these can all be done via our modular Warehouse and Transport Management systems.

Established in the 1960s

Peter Green Haulage Ltd began in the 1960s, based at the major railway junction of Evercreech in Somerset. Peter Green's father and grandfather were also both involved in road haulage, either side of the wartime nationalisation of road freight.. The 1960s also saw the beginning of company's close ties with the dairy industry, regularly carrying local Farmhouse Cheddar to markets and retailers around the country - including a small London convenience-store called J Sainsbury!

Temperature Controlled Storage and Distribution

Peter Green Chilled offers temperature controlled logistics services to the food industry. These include chilled and frozen warehouse facilities in Somerset where products are stored, picked and despatched. We welcome clients of all sizes, from a few cases to multi-thousand pallet, and offer a range off added value services including product blast-freezing and tempering, labelling and re-boxing, sample deliveries and couriers. Our transport fleet delivers chilled and frozen groupage across the UK and many parts of Europe, as well as delivering ‘case-priced’ consolidation to the major retailer sector.
